Local and BSY children enjoy day of rugby
Saturday, March 18, 2017

Saturday the 18th of March saw the Insein Stray Dogs (BSY staff) joined the Yangon Dragons in hosting a Little Dragons' touch rugby charity day at Yangon United Football ground.  The Little Dragons aims to use rugby and play based learning to bridge gaps in the Myanmar education system.  The values promoted through rugby of: respect, passion, sportsmanship, discipline, integrity, camaraderie and teamwork are easily transferrable across myriad activities from daily life through to the world of work

It was fantastic to see local children joined by our BSY students enjoying an action packed day full of rugby skills and games.  It was a fantastic mixture of many different people coming together in the name of sport.

A big thank you to Mr Kyle (Year 3 teacher) for organising the event and to all of the BSY staff who helped make the day a massive success.
